At Badsley Primary School, we enjoy high quality PE sessions delivered by sports coaches from Live and Learn Sports.
Following our fantastic athletics event at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield, we a please to present our Y3/4 and Y5/6 athlete of the day!
Great teamwork, determination and positive attitude throughout! Well done. #teambadsley
We learnt some cricket skills in Y3. We learnt to throw with one hand and catch the ball with two hands.
We practised our bowling skills by playing different games. We kept getting better and better. Maybe one day we will have a professional cricket player from Badsley Primary.
Man of the man for our cricket session was Mason. He did an amazing long barrier and demonstrated to other Y3s.
KS1 had to move Sports Day indoors due to bad weather but that didn't stop the fun! Children were able to compete it a number of games and challenges including; hitting the wicket and tunnel run! Miss Lee's class were declared the worthy winners.
KS2 have a brilliant time taking part in this year's Sports Day. They all competed in 15 different activies ranging from Balancing on a Ball to a traiditional sack race!
New Zealand came away as runaway winners but everybody did brilliantly.
In 4DJ we have been working with the Live and Learn team on our football skills. Check us out we are improving lots!
