In 2E this week, we have been working very hard at becoming penguin experts.
We began the week by writing questions that we wanted to find out the answers to. We then carried out research to find the answers to these questions. Next we sorted our information out and thought about how to make it interesting for the reader. We then wrote non-chronological reports about these fascinating creatures. We then used our purple polishing pens to edit and improve our writing.
We are very happy with our finished pieces of writing. This is our completed display showing some of our fantastic work.
Y2 homework will be added here on a weekly basis.

2E have been learning about the great explorer Captain Robert Falcon Scott who went to the South Pole. He wanted to find out about Antarctica.
Captain Scott kept a diary of his expedition. Some of the children in the class have written their own entries from this diary. They have edited and improved their writing and then published it using High 5 Presentation. They are very proud of themselves.
Year 2 recently took part in "Road Safety Day".
Here the children learnt how to cross the road
safely and just how important it is to always be
aware. They also had fun in the process!
